This week will see the 140th Open Championship take place at Royal St George’s, Sandwich, Kent..
Twelve months ago, Louis Osthuizen won the Open at St. Andrews scoring a 16-under-par (272) to win by seven strokes.
Oosthuizen has been paired in the first round with Martin Kaymer and Phil Mickelson.
The Open was last played on this course in 2003 and was won by the America, Ben Curtis. The last brit to win the Open on this course was Sandy Lyle back in 1985..
The BBC has exclusive live rights to the Open, and will broadcast 22 hours live over the first two days. ESPN will show highlights.
