Alex Brooker: Biography and Images

Alex Brooker was apart of Channel 4’s Paralympics 2012 team.

He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University before joining the Liverpool Echo as a part time writer and is currently a sports journalist for the Press Association.

He was also part of the Great Britain Talent ID shooting programme and reported at the 2011 BT Paralympic World Cup and 2011 IBSA Judo European Championships.

Alex acted as chief writer on the official guide to the 2012 Paralympics, which includes comprehensive venue and sports guides, facts and figures, features on key athletes to look out for in London and a look back at great moments from past Paralympic Games.

Rachael is a former Paralympic swimmer who competed in Beijing 2008 and is the current European record holder for 200m butterfly, world record holder for 50m butterfly and 200m backstroke British record holder. She won bronze and silver at the world championships aged just 17…
