Erron Gordon joins the BBC as head of Media Operations

Erron Gordon has joined the BBC as head of Media Operations.

“Delighted to finally share this news! I’m thrilled to be joining the BBC and can’t wait to begin working with the hugely talented teams across the corporation,” Erron said.

“I first stepped into a BBC News studio at Television Centre in 1994 so 30 years later to return overseeing them at Broadcasting House is a dream come true.”

Gordon is a Executive Television Director, Head of Studio Output and Lead Creative with over 26 years experience working for some of the biggest brands in British broadcasting.

He was Series Director of Good Morning Britain from 2014 till 2021, was responsible for the branding, graphics and set designs at TalkTV, before joining GB News in 2024.

Morwen Williams, Director of Media Operations at the BBC, said: “Building our leadership team in BBC Media Ops – delighted Erron Gordon will join as our new Head of Department, London, overseeing all our London News studios, and a number of our radio studios. Welcome Erron!”
