The BBC have commissioned a new series, The Green, Green Grass, centred around car-dealer Boycie from Only Fools.

The series will see Boycie and Marlene leave Peckham for the country following the success of their business.

Only Fools creator John Sullivan is writing the scripts for the project, as well as working on another spin-off following Del Boy’s early years, Once Upon A Time In Peckham.

The pilot episode for The Green, Green Grass is to be filmed next month.

Only Fools is one of my all time favourite programmes. Wonder who they will get to play the role of Del Boy.

Saw on American TV today where Seinfeld was voted the best sit com of all times.

Read that on the tabloid network last week. Only fools and horses is stale, repeat after repeat, problem with spin offs is that the actors look well past their sell by date.

Can’t see it doing more than 1 series.
