I can’t quite help feel that the Sky News logo has been stuck/printed on that mug, and it’s not a real one – look at the small white bit between the red and blue parts of the logo. It also looks smaller than the logo I can remember seeing on TV.
“The Sky News T-shirt and umbrella; now you can dress up and play at being a Sky News reporter!”
Umbrella looks a bit dubious since it’s rolled up…
Wouldn’t mind a Sky News mug though. Or a pen, if such a thing exists. Guess I’ll just have to work hard and become a Sky News employee unless one knows how to wheedle these things out of Sky Centre. I don’t know of any actual Sky shop – does anyone?
And you just have to tease us, right…..you bad boy!
Something else to tease you lot!
I have loads of stuff from Sky. Sky News & Sky Sports Mugs! Sky News Briefcase, Sky Sports Fleece, loads of pens, mouse mats ect ect!
The reason why I have it, is because I used to work for Sky in Livingston, Scotland in the Technical Call Centre and every year, Sky used to put on a Channel Day, where people from all the channels at Sky set up stalls and games and we just had fun.
Through the years I met Leyla Debelge, Liza Aziz, Kirsty Gallager & Jill Douglas to name but a few!
You are bidding on an authentic lot of Sky News merchandise. This lot includes a Sky News pen, Sky News yo-yo and the Sky News mailing bag that contained Richard Bestic’s last news story filed from Beijing. The flight label says from PEK (Beijing) to LHR (London Heathrow). These are the bags that are used to courier items from the main London newsroom to bureaux around the world. They are made from interwoven plastic and have drawstrings at the top. Measurements are 23″x17.5″. There’s nothing else like this on offer anywhere else — don’t miss out!
