Sky News HD ‘Side Panel’

Sky News HD will have a Information Side Panel, according to an interview with John Ryley in this months Sky Magazine.

John Ryley, Head of Sky News, told the magazine “As well as the clearer pictures, a key feature of Sky News HD will be an information side-panel to accompany the news. For example if a politician is giving a key speech on crime and youth unemployment, the director will be able to call up a side panel on screen so HD viewers can see the latest crime and youth unemployment statistics”

Sky News HD will launch in the Spring.
