NBC is apologising for the second time this week. This time for a slang word for Vagina, which was used by Jane Fonda during an NBC Today interview on Thursday. Jane was Discussing her involvement in the title of the monologue she was asked to perform, The Vagina Monologues.

Vieira, apologized for the C-word slip-up after the adverts, saying that Fonda “inadvertently said a word from the play that you don?t say on television. It was a slip and, obviously, she apologizes and so do we. We would do nothing to offend the audience.”

The incident comes only weeks after Diane Keaton used the F-word on Good Morning America.

Last year, Goalkeeper, Stephen bywater spelt out the C-word on Goals on Sunday, which went unnoticed by presenters Clare Tomlinson and Chris Kamara.

NBC had apologized to the Clinton’s earlier this week, after correspondent David Shuster suggested the Clinton campaign had “pimped out” 27-year-old Chelsea by having her place phone calls to celebrities and Democratic Party “superdelegates” on her mother’s behalf.

Shuster will be back at MSNBC on February 22 after serving a two week suspension.
