Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins gives birth to baby girl!

Charlotte Hawkins has given birth to a baby girl!

The Good Morning Britain presenter, who married her boyfriend of five years Mark Herbert in August 2008, gave birth earlier today (Sunday).

Her fellow presenter, Susanna Reid, broke the news to her 251,000 Twitter followers, saying: “Congratulations to our beautiful @CharlotteHawkns who’s given birth to a mini-Charlotte”

“Mini-Charlotte” was born weighing 7lbs 14oz.

Her former Sky News colleague Kay Burley said on Twitter: “Huge congrats to @CharlotteHawkns on birth of first child. Your father will be smiling down on you today lovely girl x”

Lorraine Kelly added: “Big congrats lovely @CharlotteHawkns – you will be an amazing mum. Can’t wait to meet the wee one”
