NBC’s Al Roker to serve as guest ring announcer at WWE Wrestlemania 33

NBC weather presenter Al Roker will be a ring announcer for a match at this year’s Wrestlemania.

The WWE event, which takes place this Sunday at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, is the 33rd edition of ‘The showcase of the immortals’

Al will be the announcer for the John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse intergender match.

During a guest hosting appearance on NBC Today, Cena surprised Roker with the opportunity to be the guest ring announcer for his match-up at WrestleMania 33.

The four-hour long event will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK, where Goldberg and Brock Lesnar meet for the WWE Universal Title.

Elsewhere, Randy Orton will challenge former master Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship having overcome AJ Styles in a no 1 contender’s match.

WWE WrestleMania 33 will cost £19.95 for viewers in the UK and €24.95 for customers in Ireland.

It’ll be broadcast live at midnight on Sunday April 2 (Monday morning) on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) and Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492).

Repeats of the event will be available between 10am on Monday, April 3 and 8pm on Thursday, April 6, in standard definition only on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491).
