Southampton v Liverpool – EFL Cup – Live TV Coverage on Sky Sports

Southampton will host Liverpool in the English Football League Cup this evening.

This semi-final first-leg contest will take place at St Mary’s Stadium, and will be shown exclusively live on Sky Sports.

Both sides have impressed in the Premier League so far this season, with Jurgen Klopp’s Reds especially eye-catching.

The Anfield supporters are dreaming of a first league title since 1989/90, but will also be keen to reach the final of this competition for the second successive season.

The Reds beat Southampton 6-1 at the same venue in the League Cup quarter-finals last season. The Saints have not reached the League Cup final since a 1979 defeat by Nottingham Forest.

Coverage starts at 7.30pm on Sky Sports 1 with live streaming on Now TV and Sky Go. Kick-off 7.45pm.
