The 2013 Formula One season begins tonight with round one from Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia.
The BBC will show nine races live on BBC One in 2013, including the British, Brazilian, Chinese, Spanish, Canadian, Belgian, Italian, Japanese, and Indian grands prix.
There will be extended highlights on BBC One of the other 10, of either 90-minute or two-hour duration depending on the location of the race.
Races in the Far Eastern time zone will have highlights broadcast on BBC One at 2pm, with those in the European time zone getting 90 minutes at 5.30pm.
Sky Sports F1 will show all races, qualifying and practice sessions live on Sky channel 406 and Virgin Media channel 516.
Round One Coverage:
The action gets underway on Friday morning with Practice 1 at 1.30am – Sky Sports F1 will be live on air from 1am.
Sky Sports F1 begin their second live programme at 5:15am for the second practice session which begins at 5:30am.
A short highlights packages of the practice sessions will be available on the BBC Sport website later on Friday, and Sky Sports F1 will repeat all practice sessions throughout the day.
At 9:30am on Friday morning, Natalie Pinkham and Ted Kravitz will host the F1 Show live from Australia.
On Saturday, Sky Sports F1 will be live on air from 2:45am for the third practice session, followed by qualifying at 5am.
Suzi Perry will present TV highlights of qualifying on BBC One at 1pm.
UPDATE: Due to heavy rain, Q2 and Q3 will now be run at 12am on Sunday. Sky Sports F1 will be live on air from 11.45pm (Sat). The BBC will broadcast highlights of Q2 and Q3 at 5.15am on Sunday morning.
Sunday morning sees live coverage of the grand prix on Sky Sports F1 from 4:30am, and there will be an extensive highlights programme on BBC One from 2.20pm.
