Euro 2016, Day 6 – Live TV Coverage on BBC, ITV – Russia v Slovakia, France v Albania

Day 6 of Euro 2016 takes place today as the second round of fixtures get underway.

Two games from Group A and a game from Group B will air on BBC and ITV, while England’s Group B clash against Wales takes place tomorrow afternoon on BBC.

Today’s coverage begins with Russia v Slovakia at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille.

Slovakia are one of five countries making their European Championship debut at this tournament, along with Iceland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Albania, and Jan Kozak’s squad came through qualifying with only two defeats as they finished runners-up to Spain in Group C.

Russia squeaked through their group to book a fifth successive appearance at the finals and 10th overall, including their time as the Soviet Union.

Coverage starts at 1.45pm on BBC One and BBC One HD, where Dan Walker will be joined in the studio by Jermaine Jenas, Martin Keown and Robbie Savage. Commentary comes from Guy Mowbray and Mark Lawrenson.

Kick-off 2.00pm

Coverage switches to ITV at 4.30pm, where the Group A clash between Romania and Switzerland takes place at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

Mark Pougatch will be joined in the company of Norman Whiteside, Slaven Bilic and Craig Bellamy, while Sam Matterface and Andy Townsend provide match commentary.

Kick-off 5.00pm

The final game of the day, also live on ITV, sees the host nation France face Albania at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille.

This time Mark will be joined by Christian Karembeu, Louis Saha, Emmanuel Petit, Marion Bartoli and Ian Wright. Match commentary comes from Clive Tyldesley and Glenn Hoddle.
