Great North Run 2017 – Live TV Coverage on BBC One

The 2017 Great North Run will take place on Sunday 10th August with live TV coverage on the BBC.

Gabby Logan presents coverage of the half-marathon that runs from Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields, with approximately 57,000 runners set to take part this time around.

Kenya’s four-time Olympic medallist Vivian Cheruiyot will be looking to replicate her 2016 win in the women’s elite race, but faces competition from her compatriot Mary Keitany as well as Britain’s Jo Pavey.

Gabby will be live on BBC One and BBC One HD from 9.30am, where she’ll be joined by JJ Chalmers, Denise Lewis and Colin Jackson.

Commentary comes from Steve Cram, Andrew Cotter and Paula Radcliffe.

Ore Oduba will front a hour-long highlights programme on BBC Two from 6pm on Sunday evening.
