This is the moment three former Olympians – Denise Lewis, Colin Jackson and Michael Johnson – cheered home Great Britain’s Mo Farah for Gold in the 5,000 metres.

The trio were sat in the BBC TV studio inside the Olympic Stadium.

Farah, who won the 10,000m gold medal last saturday, crossed the line in 13 minutes 41.66 seconds, just ahead of Dejen Gebremeskel in silver and Kenya’s Thomas Pkemei Longosiwa in bronze.

The video also shows BBC commentators Steve Cram and Brendan Foster calling the action as Farah crosses the finish line.
