Dawna Friesen - Biography and Images

Dawna Friesen is a foreign correspondent for NBC News, based in the network’s London bureau.

She appears on NBC and MSNBC.

A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and graduate of Red River College, Friesen has worked in journalism since 1985, working across Western Canada – in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Brandon, Manitoba, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Vancouver, British Columbia.

She reported and anchored for CBC television in Vancouver and for CBC Newsworld. She then moved to the CTV as a national reporter for the network, and an anchor for CTV NewsNet. She moved to NBC in 1999.
