Derek Brockway - Biography and Images

Derek Brockway presents the weather on Wales Today – BBC Wales’ flagship evening news programme.

Derek joined BBC Wales Today in September 1997 replacing Helen Willetts as the main weather presenter for BBC Wales. His role also includes presenting weather bulletins for BBC Radio Wales.

His first forecasting job was at Birmingham Weather Centre and then it was onto London where he had his first taste of TV, broadcasting on GMTV in 1996.

Derek is Welsh born and bred, brought up in the seaside town of Barry.
