Laura Bicker is the BBC’s Seoul correspondent currently based in South Korea.
Prior to this she was Washington corespondent and before that she was based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Laura has worked in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle during her career at the BBC.
Speaking of her appointment as North America Correspondent, Laura said: “I am looking forward to getting a feel for how politics works in Washington, I’m looking forward to meeting the bureau there because they have all been utterly friendly so far and getting an idea of what the city is like”
