Laura Trevelyan is the BBC’s Correspondent based at the UN.
Since 2004, Laura had been a BBC Correspondent based in Washington.
Prior to this, she was a Political correspondent. Laura’s first job at the BBC was in 1993 as a researcher for Breakfast News, from where she moved to Newsnight, On The Record and The Today Programme before moving to Westminster. Laura returned to Westminster in 2005 to cover the General Election.
Laura began her career as a general reporter for London Newspaper Group titles, such as the Hammersmith Chronicle, in 1991.
