Matthew Amroliwala is a presenter on BBC World News.
Matthew also presents the main BBC One bulletins at weekends and appears on the revamped Crimewatch alongside Kirsty Young.
Matthew joined the BBC in 1990 as a network news correspondent, including extensive work in Northern Ireland. He has also reported from Bosnia on the fall of Srebrenica and travelled throughout the Balkans during that conflict.
Matthew joined BBC News 24 at its launch in 1997 as a presenter of the channel’s evening programmes. Since 2001, he has mainly presented alongside Jane Hill.
Matthew is married and has four children.
