Mike Carlson is a pundit of National Football League (NFL) coverage on BBC.

He worked on Channel Five’s coverage of the sport from 1998-2010, and has also been the main analyst for BBC’s coverage of the Super Bowl since 2008.

Carlson is married to the author Kirsten Ellis and they have a son, Nathaniel. In addition he is a published poet, a blogger and is known for his love for professional wrestling.
