Nick Luck – born 29th June 1978 – is a racing broadcaster who presented Channel 4 Racing and The Morning Line.
He appeared on Racing UK at its launch in 2004 after 18 months as part of the original attheraces team and was a presenter on its inaugural broadcast before going to host all major events for the channel over an eight year period.
He made his Channel 4 debut later that year, continuing to work in a variety of roles on the programme until his appointment as lead presenter of Channel 4’s Morning Line in 2010.
Nick is an integral member of the new 2013 Channel 4 Racing team, working closely alongside Clare Balding on key events as well as fronting the weekly Saturday afternoon coverage. He continues to present Morning Line and has been voted Racing Broadcaster of the Year four times.
Nick’s other work includes reporting on 8 Breeders’ Cups (3 Emmy Nominated & 3 Eclipse awards) for US Networks ESPN & NBC, hosting the International coverage of the ‘Arc’ for Equidia, and contributing to a raft of publications, including Evening Standard, The Guardian and Sunday Telegraph.
Nick has interests in horses with John Quinn and Nick Gifford.
Nick lives in South West London with his wife Laura and their daughter.
