Noel Thompson co-presents BBC Newsline for viewers in Northern Ireland each weekday evening alongside Donna Traynor.

Noel joined the BBC in 1979 and has since presented the BBC’s Breakfast News and Newsnight programmes. Noel also now anchors BBC Northern Ireland television’s innovative political series, Hearts and Minds.

Noel has won the prestigious Royal Television Society – ‘Regional TV Presenter of the Year’ two years running.
