Leicester City face Manchester United in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium this afternoon, the curtain raiser for the new season.
Leicester stunned the football world by winning the league last season against all the odds, but have lost influential midfielder N’Golo Kante to Chelsea during the summer, while United have strengthened well under new manager Jose Mourinho.
The only Wembley match between the two teams previously was the FA Cup final in 1963, in which Manchester United won 3-1.
Both matches between United and Leicester in the Premier League last season ended 1-1.
Jamie Vardy broke the Premier League record for scoring in the most consecutive matches, previously held by United’s Ruud van Nistelrooy, in the first meeting in November.
The match will be shown live on BT Sport 2 and BT Sport 4K from 3.15pm.
There’ll be highlights of the match on BT Sport 3 from 10pm and on BBC One from 10.30pm
