CNN has launched a dedicated website for its initiative ‘iReport’. CNN launched the citizen journalist initiative in August 2006 and has received nearly 100,000 news-related photos and videos from viewers, many of them appeared on CNN or CNN.com.

From CNN’s iReport main page “Welcome to a brand new beta site for unfiltered, uncensored user-powered news. CNN is providing the tools. You take it from there! Report, upload and comment on the stories you find most interesting and important. The views, coverage and content on the site are all yours – not CNN’s! So, go ahead, have at it! “
