Biography Coleen Patricia Nolan is a TV presenter, author and member of The Nolans. The group’s successes include two Royal Variety performances, a string of hits in the UK and more than nine million records sold in Japan.
In 1979, they participated in the UK Eurovision selection process. Their song Harry My Honolulu Lover was considered the favourite before the contest, but it eventually came fourth,
with Black Lace going on to represent the UK.
At the end of 1979, the group released I’m In the Mood for Dancing, which became their best-known tune and biggest hit. It reached No 3 in the UK and No 1 in Japan.
Coleen’s extensive TV work includes stints on This Morning, Loose Women, Dancing On Ice and The Wright Stuff.
She has three children, two boys with ex-husband Shane Richie and a girl with her second husband musician Ray Fensome.
