Former Tory Minister Edwina Currie is set to join the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, according to the Sun.

The newspaper says the 68 year old, ex-minister of Sir John Major, is set to face jungle bugs and bushtucker trials.

She signed a big-money deal despite blasting Tory MP Nadine Dorries for taking part in the ITV show in 2012.

The ten celebrities taking part in this year’s series have been divided into two groups and viewers have chosen which group starts jungle life in the infamous Celebrity Slammer.

The group entering the Celebrity Slammer will face all manner of dismal discomforts and most importantly, one of them will face the first Bushtucker Trial. The other group will enjoy a final night of luxury.

The Celebs in Group A are: Michael Buerk, Tinchy Stryder, Kendra Wilkinson, Jimmy Bullard and Melanie Sykes.

The Celebs in Group B are: Craig Charles, Vicki Michelle, Carl Fogarty, Nadia Forde and Gemma Collins.

We’ll find out which group will enter the Celebrity Slammer on Sunday evening at 9pm.
