Louis Walsh, who was first to vote, said: “Two incredible emotional performances from two amazing singers. I am Kitty’s mentor, so I have to save Kitty and send Misha B home.”
Tulisa Contostavlos added: “I think both of you girls are amazingly talented and that was a dramatic showdown. But I want to see the person who I can relate to as a musician, so I am sending Kitty home.”
Kelly Rowland, Misha’s mentor said: “I really believe in this young lady and she needs votes, I think Kitty is a great talent but I really see a bright future in Misha so I have to send Kitty home.”
Gary Barlow had the deciding vote: “What an amazing sing off. If you were to ask me which two people want this the most it would be you two. The act I’m sending home is Kitty.”
Kitty then joined Olly Murs and Caroline Flack on the Xtra Factor for a brief interview.
As the interview was coming to a close, Lady Gaga ran onto the stage to give the evicted contestant a hug.
