does anyone know what happened with the sky sports channel at the gongs and fireworks on new year day. did they just continue with normal programming or did they go to the sky news/five feed. i am wondering about sky sports news the most.

    thanks

ssn will have been off tape from about 1900 like it is usually from 0000.

I remember switching it on at 12 and it was just the normal layout and reports. Do they repeat the same tapes at around 12 to the morning?

Weekdays SSN is off tape from 0000 – 0600 and weekends 0000 – 0700, most of the time, however, there are exceptions to this. Over xmas this was different. For example new years eve I believe it was off tape from 1900 – 0700

Some of them work on Sky News too, don’t they? – before their 2/3 hours on SSN.

they seem to have changed it and have dedicated sports readers on the news channel and the ssn presenters dont go over to the news channel now during their breaks from ssn
