Sir Alex Ferguson never seems to do any interviews at all with the BBC, leaving that job to his assistant Querioz.

It was because the BBC did some documntary on his son and he vowed not to speak with them again.

What was the Documentary about that got Fergie riled?

Have there been any confrontations between Fergie/BBC, like at press conferences when BBC reporter asks a question, does Fergie blank them or are they barred from the ground?

‘What was the Documentary about that got Fergie riled?’

Not ‘riled’? ‘Riley-ed’! Was it something to do with Mike Riley (Man U’s reliable home ref) not being given a big game at Old Trafford? And the panel on MOTD knowing the influence that Fergie has on weak referee’s like Riley? I think that’s closer to the truth?

At the press conference after the Manchester derby when Roy Keane ended Alf Inge Haaland’s career, BBC 5 Live’s Alan Green slammed Keane and Sir Alex has not spoken to them since.
He did let his guard slip recently when he spoke to a reporter from BBC Look East at the funeral of John Lyall I think.

In the past year or two, BBC Three did a documentary regarding his son’s work as a football agent. It was shown at a later date on BBC 1
