How did you get started in broadcasting?
I started at Mercia FM radio station in Coventry, part-time, while I was still at Warwick university.

When was that?
1994

Why News broadcasting?
I’ve always been interested in news, current affairs and sport.

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
Mercia FM, BBC Southern Counties radio, News Direct radio, LBC radio, ITV News Channel, ITV1, Channel 5.

What is your Best on-air moment?
An exclusive interview with David Beckham in Madrid.

What is your Worst on-air moment?
Saying Brian Clough’s nickname was Old Big Ears instead of Old Big Head.

What would you like to do before your career ends?
I don’t think too far ahead. Just try and do as good a job as I can day by day.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Play Golf.

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Anyone can do it if they’re passionate and determined enough.
