    When do the packages start?

    Also do 1 of the packages have to be bought by a terrestrial channel?

    Sky would use Prem plus to show the package of Saturday games as they have done this season

    The packages run from 2007 to 2010

    There are no rules as to who can buy the packages except the rule that one company can only own 5 of the 6

    I dont mean to be rude, but when I read that sentence I want to shout ‘CHEEKY BASTARDS’. If NTL/Virgin were to win the remaining three packages, which apparently include Package A (23 first choice games), you could see this happening if Prem Plus continues –

    * Sky Sports (+ Family Pack) – 46 games – ?25 per month [/b]or[/b] Sky World – 46 games – ?35 per month

    * PremPlus – 23 games – ?30 a year (?2.50 per month)

    * Virgin Sports channel – ?25 per month

    Total Cost – ?52.50 or ?62.50

    Read and weep. Surely the FAPL should insist PremPlus ends in such a situation???

    Sky also win a 4th package. 1,300m they paid for all 4 packages.

    Sky win packages A, B, E, and F they’ll still be showing Super Sunday (4pm)

    Prem Plus is likely to be dropped.

    Setanta gets packages C and D.

    On SSN Sky will show 92 matches a season from 2007,they may not have won the rights to as many packages as they wanted but they will still have a sh@t load of football to show

    I know Sky got the 4PM sunday matches. and they are show 92 games a season.

    If Setanta got 2 packages, dose that mean Prem Plus didn’t get any?
