General thread for the General Election 2007, If it’s called.

Should Gordon call an election? If he does, how soon should he call it? The Westminster press pack believes he’ll announce an autumn election as early as Monday or Wednesday.

As much as I don’t like the idea of having a prime minister we didn’t vote in, he seems to be doing ok, let’s see how he gets on

You’ve gotta love our electoral system!

Brown’s in a position now where if he calls it the conservatives are going to say well that means the economy’s just going to get worse and if he doesn’t call it he’ll get called a coward.

Let him call it when he wants to call it.
