BBC journalist George Alagiah has been urged to say sorry to the people of Bradford for claiming the city has ghettoised communities.

Bradford Council leader Kris Hopkins has asked the news presenter to issue an apology for comments he made in his new book, when he visits the city tomorrow.

Mr Alagiah cites Bradford as an example of multi-culturalism not working in his book Home from Home. And he is due to address an audience at Cartwright Hall in inner city Manningham, Bradford, tomorrow night to defend his views.
