Following a competitive pitch with the UK?s top digital agencies, Framfab has been appointed by ITN Archive to redevelop its online presence as part of a multimillion-pound digitisation project. When completed, the redevelopment will enable ITN Archive?s clients to take full advantage of its digitised content. Customers will be able to source content from their desktops, via the internet, with the ability to view, select and order footage instantaneously.
ITN Archive?s new site will deliver an enhanced user experience, with better search and interaction facilities to take full advantage of the broader range of content available. The site ( w http://www.itnarchive.com w ) will evolve into a fully rounded e-commerce vehicle with access to the most popular content in ITN Archive?s eclectic collection of nearly 700,000 hours of footage.
As part of its work Framfab will be laying the foundations for future proofed digital channels starting initially with a broadcast and business audience in mind before progressing onto a mass-market proposition. It is intended that the site will offer the opportunity to download video and stills, not only to computer but also to i-Pods, mobile phones and a variety of personal communication devices.

We are delighted to be given the opportunity of executing and evolving ITN Archive?s vision online and moving it forward significantly over the next three years to be the best online archive company in the world.
