gr?inne didn't win either this year. got beaten by the very snobby Mark Cagney. it was unfair in my opinion. TV3 were the only ones who canvesed for their candidate. every programme on tv3 had a reminder about it. poor gr?inne looked gutted. who will sky put forward next year, grainne will hardly want to go again.

sky news ireland didn't win the news programme of the year either. BBC NI beat both SNI & RT? to it. I was hoping SNI would win it but in my opinion RT? were next in line. good to see nearly all the reporters from sky were there to cheer on the programme. news programme of the year would have been nice under the SNI logo.
