Not just me then? I think they sort of needed to be more washed out didn't they? It was a bit hard to see a clear difference between what you're actually looking at compared with the overpowering background.

it's a sports chat rather than a bulletin.





very good! that means i might take notice of it rather than turning over because i cant stand the constant interruptions for bloody sport.

The sports news headlines seem a bit more informal as the presenters are conversing about it, much prefer it!

do you think this is what eamonn meant by 'people know, i hope, what i bring to presenting' in the package from yesterday.. it turns the show from a constant reading of the same script, to a constant chat/conversation.

During ad breaks, ads have reverted to 14:9 on Irish signal..... displayed correctly on other widescreen broadcasts
