How long will it be before grainne is presenting from london on a regular basis. the column inches would suggest very soon. If so, good luck to her.

Timescale? Don't know. But some suggest sooner rather than later, and it would be a natural progression for her career.

However the real question is; if Gr?inne did leave Sky News Ireland for a permanent posistion in London, how would that affect the Sky News Ireland service? As Gr?inne Seoige is the face of Sky News Ireland at the moment, and she does get a lot of publicity over here. So bearing in mind that Sky News are trying to raise the profile of it's Sky News Ireland bulletins, taking away it's biggest asset 'could' be detrimental to the Sky News Ireland service overall. As Ray Kennedy just doesn't have the on-screen presence of Gr?inne Seoige. (Sorry Ray!)
