Can you give some more information? Why was a dog shot on Sky News? What is the background?

Alex Rossi made a package about "Current battles and situation in Iraq" yesterday and between the shooting there was also an animal squealing from behind. I assume it was a dog. Is this what you had in your mind, Will?

In the report after the animal squealing you see a dog fall to the ground.

I would imagine that the dog was responding to the noise of the mortar round that just went off and has subsequently gone deaf as a result
