Sky are changing their graphics again soon:

Paul Bromley+ Sky News viewers' editor(Paul Bromley @ Sky News viewers' editor)

Thanks for all your comments.

Graphics: Wikipedia is wrong about the date. It is one of the inherent dangers of the internet that not all the information is correct.

But I think wikipedia did get it right when the entry said: "Many other channels have attempted to mimick (sic) and emulate Sky's standards and methods with varying degrees of success."

It is no secret that we are working on a change to our graphics look. It will concentrate initially on what we call the "lower third" of the screen.

Our current plan is to make the change in the next few weeks - but not January 29.

Titles/look: This is a longer-term project and you won't see the changes until the spring at the earliest.

Globe: As I said in the "Spanning The Globe", our international coverage is more - much more - than just the issue of whether we restore the globe to our title sequence.
