what's up with their daily schedule recently. I think Colin Brazier was on his own today and now so is Julie Etchingham. Their staff seem to get a tonne of holiday leave.

I really don't understand why they have to use Julie or Colin as replacement for Jeremy. They have tons of people without their slots who can do it, including weekend staff(Chris,Steve). Also it seems like some people can't work more than 2 weeks and than they have to take holiday.

Plus Gillian Joseph is more on her old evening slot than with Jeremy. What's the point of seperating Anna & Jeremy. They really need some better scheduling, they have gone from 3 presenters to 1. It's sad.

My dream news channel would be CNN with all of their presenters in Sky News studio. That would be great.

And the other night they had Martin Popplewell on until half 12 and then he was on Sunrise the following morning, no wonder he looked rough

Lukwesa is quite good isn't she? Comes across as warm and natural on screen - a bit like Emma. I wonder why she had to wait so long for a shot at daytime while Samantha Simmons - who is wooden and dull in comparison - seemed to get there quicker?

A World Without Heroes

It a little bit unfair - because I haven`t seen so much Sky News the last week, but I agree SSLuke....

Lukwesa Burak is quite good - maybe a bit of Emma Crosby, jeps!

Wonder (too) why Lukwesa Burak and Samantha Simmonds had to wait SO LONG for a daytime - but we know, we are living in a World without Heroes. Or what? Friendly Classeyham...

His stint as a news anchor was not successful ? on occasions, just 1,000 viewers watched his Sky News foreign affairs show ? but life is looking up for former Bill Clinton aide James Rubin.

For handsome James, 47, is leaving London with his wife, CNN?s chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour, 49, to return to the States to help Hillary Clinton?s campaign to follow her husband into the White House.

The decision, however, wasn?t easy. London-born Christiane loves this country and friends say she will find it a wrench leaving her close-knit family.

Unusual for me to comment on the guys but:

Tim Marshall on as a presenter again earlier today, and an exceeding good job it makes of it.

He has the most extensive knowledge of the ins and out of foreign affairs from every corner of the world of any broadcaster and it seems a step down from foreign editor to presenter.

anyway he is damn good in whatever role
