General thread for day-to-day discussions about BBC News.

A New Topic should be created in the first instance. Often most comments don't warrant a new thread.

This thread is mainly for general discussions, day-to-day operations, graphic tweaks, correspondents locations, up-and-coming programmes, and other pieces of information.

Good God. I can't stand the man on BBC News! Never mind when he was at ITN.

What a pleasure to see Sian on the 6 o'clock news. A very welcome change to Natasha. Her face and smile are genuine. Natasha's smile never seems to reach her eyes, so wooden and whats with that accaarrnt!

Not sure why some presenters have started putting inane grins on their faces..much like my regional presenter (East midlamds Today) at the moment. Mel Coles standing in for Anne Davis, just seems to grin and pout for no good reason.
