mwah ha ha!

I really do wish I had your sense of humour - unfortunately, you're the only person that does have your sense of humour.

Shame that.

Hey, where is that building. It's crying out for a bit of a barn conversion! Where's Sarah Beeney when you need her?

I mean, its a well known fact Sky got/get the edge on their competitors by operating from the cheapest accomodation they can find.

I really don't see what there is to argue about here.

So why are you arguing about it? You brought it up!

I'm arguing that a better centrally located studio would make for a better news channel. Something quite seperate from issues of cost.

How would it make it better? Seems like a pointless arguement considering there's never been a convincing reason to move locations apart from... erm a nice London background.

Exactly. And it is centrally located. In Osterley. And going back to FOX, I think some if not all, of their backgrounds are chroma-keyed.

It would place it closer to newsmakers, other media outlets and give the channel a higher visibility. If there were no arguments for central city locations why are there companies clamouring to get offices there. Why isnt everybody locating in out of town sheds?

Closer to other newsmakers! For a start that would yeild no benifit whatsoever. And anyway, the beeb is just round the corner as it is. AND at Millbank they share a building along with ITN!

Are you denying you wouldnt find it cool to see a big Sky News HQ plopped down in some central London location designed by some world leading architect or other?
