Does anyone know if they will be doing new programming, i.e. new evening schedule etc. or just a new studio and graphics?

It all sounds very exciting doesn't it, "a double decked studio" whatever will they think of next.

I agree with the people who i have mentioned that they should change the graphics and the theme tune music should definately be changed (in my opinion). I think they should have a total revamp of everything.

As far as the newswall goes...well... as it is the newswall dwarfs the presenters, if it gets any bigger it'll be pointless putting them in front of it, they'll be too small!

The idea of the "rotating stage" sounds very impressive, it'll definately be the first ive seen on any news channel before now.

Yeah ia gree it all sounds very impressive, i just hope though that they change the graphics...and the theme tune, does anyone agree with me on that subject? What are everyone's opinions on the graphics and theme tune music?

I disagree with you on the theme tune - although it isn't as good as the 2001 election period theme, the current theme tune is the strongest they've ever had.

The 7 note fanfare is used across all beds, themes and there are variants for Adam Boulton, the USA elections and Sky News Active. As it's an orchestral piece too, it's very different to any other news theme on british television at the moment.

I do think that the graphics are getting very very tired now though.

From what I've heard from various places, it will be a total refresh. I can't see them moving to a new multi million pound news centre and not updating everything else...prepare to be amazed I reckon.

I hope the theme is kept. Sky change logos and theme far too often.

Speaking of the theme - where can I find a full version of it??

You'd have to ask somebody to capture it from the TV.

The bed is played clean at around 1:55am when they do world weather - so somebody could maybe capture that.
