I hope Jeremy Thompson has a key role on Sky News' coverage of the elections - I know he's been in Rome and that he will not front the election night programme, but I hope he gets some sort of a role. I've heard nothing yet, which would be a great shame.

Hello+Apr 20 2005, 11:31 PM(Hello @ Apr 20 2005, 11:31 PM)

Where's Boris Johnstone at the moment? Anyone seen him on TV during the election campaign? I need cheered up.

Oh he's a hoot. Michael Crick did a feature on him, and David Blunkett, for Newsnight recently. He asked him to quote the Tory's pledges (Cleaner hospitals etc), and he did it. Boris kept on being asked for his autograph from people who recognised him from HIGNFY.

Friday, 7pm: A special Boulton factor, live from Rossendale and Darwen presented by Anna Botting and Kay Burley. An audience will basically be able to quiz politicians in a town-hall style debate that I think featured in Sky's coverage last time.

Mediaguardian monkey is running a story on Kay Burley's outfits whilst she is flitting about the Lancashire countryside. They've included a link to the best Sky News tribute site* there is around.

Sorry if she did, on monday night I though she said "Anna will be here too", but it could have been Adam. Makes more sense now I think about it, maybe I need a hearing aid.

I was wondering why JT was in this Press Office picture, but no need to wonder anymore, Jeremy Filed a report today from the Labour campaign bus.

Good to see that Sky has assembled its "hot" team for the election. Adam Boulton's interview with the PM last night became a news item in itself - well done SKY, you have no peer when it comes to getting the politicians tied up in their own verbiage.
