In addition to replaying 3 News from CanWest MediaWorks' TV3, Paul Holmes from Prime, exclusive live and full coverage of the New Zealand parliament question time and New Zealand news updates every 15 minutes from Sydney (with the newswall operational, but blurred), SNANZ also have another current affairs show that has been since about the start of the year.

It is called Williams Up-Front, it screens at 8PM NZST after Five Live and it is hosted by Larry Williams (picture below). Williams Up-Front is a half-hour-long interview, which works out to be about 20 minutes after Gulf Harbour commercials, other local commercials and promos for other satellite/cable channels.

The program is sponsored by Gulf Harbour, which is an exclusive North Auckland golfing and yachting suburb he is a spokesperson for, and his radio station, Newstalk ZB, who are a content provider for Sky News Australia.

With regards to his afternoon drive show on ZB, the radio station's website describes him as follows: "Larry has a unique ability to put exactly into a few words what the average New Zealander is thinking. His programming focusses on the breaking stories of the day and puts the top news makers under the spotlight. Special segments include political and overseas correspondents and a business focused programme between 6pm and 7pm."

Sky News Australia New Zealand now has 90-120 minutes of local content an evening, local news updates, their own local promos and their own local dog.

How long until they have their own local hourly bulletins?
