Sky News Business Presenter Joel Hills is to join ITV News as its new Business Editor.
He’ll replace Laura Kuenssberg who has joined BBC Newsnight as chief correspondent and presenter.
Joel wasn’t the only Sky staffer to apply for the ITV job. According to Media Guido, Dharshini David also applied but missed out.
“I am proud and thrilled to be appointed as ITV News Business Editor,” said Joel.
“I’m joining a terrific team and I can’t wait to get started. I have spent ten good years at Sky. I made strong friendships and worked alongside some inspiring journalists but this is one of those rare opportunities that is simply too enticing and too prestigious to turn down.”
