BT Sport is expected to announce they have reached a deal with WWE.

According to the Telegraph, BT will air weekly WWE events Raw and SmackDown in the early hours of every Tuesday and Saturday respectively.

BT Sport declined to comment on reports but are expected to take over from Sky Sports at the end of the year when WWE and Sky’s current contract expires.

World Wrestling Entertainment and Sky signed their current deal in 2014, which sees the broadcaster air live Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live every week.

In addition to the regular shows, all WWE pay-per-view including Wrestlemania have been available on Sky Sports Box Office.

It was announced late last year that SmackDown Live will move from Tuesday to Friday nights from October 2019 following a new TV stuck between the wrestling promotion and FOX TV. Raw will remain on Monday nights on the USA Network.
