ITV News and NBC News have reached a joint agreement to share reporters. ITV’s recently promoted – Rohit Kachroo has recieved another promotion to become the Africa Correspondent (which was dropped in the last years ITV News International reporters shuffle). Kachroo, who is currently the crime correspondent for ITV News is expected to start his new position later in the month. Like previously, Kachroo will be based in South Africa.
“Rohit is an excellent reporter who has proved himself on many home and international stories. His first posting as a foreign correspondent will enable us to comprehensively cover Africa from Johannesburg as well as our hub in Dubai.”
As part of the new agreement, ITV News’ Middle East correspondent John Ray will become a joint correspondent with NBC News, and will be supported by the NBC production team in Israel.

ITV and NBC already share reports and footage, this is particlarly seen during the ITV News at 5:30 and the NBC Nightly News.
