England host Slovenia in a Group F World Cup 2018 qualifier at Wembley Stadium this evening.

Gareth Southgate’s men will hope to improve on the goalless stalemate in last October’s reverse fixture, in the knowledge that a victory tonight will guarantee them top spot in the group with one match remaining, and thus ensure they qualify for the finals in Russia next summer.

The match will be shown live on ITV from 7.30pm, where Mark Pougatch is joined in the studio by Lee Dixon, Ian Wright and Ryan Giggs.

Match commentary comes from Clive Tyldesley and Glenn Hoddle.

Kick-off 7.45pm.

Sky Sports will also air World Cup 2018 qualifiers this evening as Scotland take on Slovakia Hampden Park (Sky Sports Main Event, 7.30pm), and Northern Ireland host Germany in a Group C contest at Windsor Park (Sky Sports Football, 7.30pm)

Highlights of all three matches will be shown on ITV from 10.40pm tonight with Jacqui Oatley.
