Updated on Saturday 12 March 2016 by @TVNewsroom

The 2016 Rugby Six Nations continues this weekend with live TV coverage on the BBC and ITV.

The action gets underway on Saturday afternoon as Ireland host Italy at the Aviva Stadium.

The sides last met during the pool stage of the 2015 World Cup, when Ireland recorded a 16-9 victory at the Olympic Stadium in London.

They also prevailed 26-3 in Italy during last season’s Six Nations and will be expecting to prevail once again. However, Joe Schmidt’s men were frustrated in their opening two games of the campaign, drawing at home to Wales and losing by one point in France.

Coverage starts at 12.30pm on ITV, UTV. Kick-off 1.30pm

ITV will also air England’s clash with Wales on Saturday afternoon (4.00pm), while the BBC will show Scotland v France from 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
